0201 — Introduction to Digitizing & Basic Stitch Structure
Class Overview
In Module 01 — Sketching, students learned how to create, arrange, modify, and prepare artwork.
Module 02 begins the next stage: converting artwork into machine embroidery.
In this first digitizing class, students will learn what embroidery digitizing is, why it is important, what a stitch is, and the basic stitch parameters of length, spacing, and stitch flow.
Students will also be introduced to the two basic stitch modules, Fill and Outline, and begin practical digitizing using the Complex and Complex Turning input tools in Wilcom e4.2.
